The Story Behind Bees Class

Our Purpose

Bees Class was born from a personal journey with languages and teaching.

Our founder was born and raised in London before moving to Switzerland with her partner. Wanting to understand and connect with her new surroundings, she spent more than two years learning German. During this experience, she discovered something that stayed with her: the teacher can make all the difference when learning a language.

She noticed that the semesters in which her teachers genuinely cared about her progress, encouraged her and created an enjoyable learning environment were the times she learned the most.

This experience inspired her to continue her career in teaching English, working with both children and adults in different language schools and settings. Over time, she discovered that the greatest progress often happened when students were engaged, comfortable and enjoying the lesson.

This became the inspiration behind Bees Class.

We believe language learning should be personal, enjoyable and meaningful. Every student is different, so we create lessons around their needs, interests and level. Whether teaching a young child or an adult, we want every lesson to have a purpose and every student to leave feeling that they have achieved something.

Our Promise

At Bees Class, we believe that learning a language should be an experience, not simply a lesson. Our teachers are qualified and carefully trained to teach with the Bees Class approach: with enthusiasm, patience, creativity and genuine care for every student.

For young children, we believe the most natural way to learn a new language is similar to how we learn our mother tongue; through listening, repetition, songs, stories, play, creativity and real experiences, gradually building understanding and confidence.

For adults, we create practical and engaging lessons that connect English to their everyday lives, interests and goals.

Our promise is simple: to make every lesson valuable, enjoyable and memorable.

Because when students feel encouraged, understood and excited to learn, they don't just learn a language; they develop the confidence to use it.
